Young & Sons Hardwood Floors is a family owned, fourth generation flooring contractor on the San Francisco Peninsula. We have been installing and restoring hardwood flooring in the Bay Area since the early 1900's. We originally began our flooring company by hand scraping floor's -before there were sanders. After choosing the right floor, we will help you pick the perfect color. Choosing a color is based on your floor plan as well as your decor. The color will not only compliment your entire home - it will complete it.

We recently hired Ron Young to install a new section of wood (patch) to the original hardwood floors in our home, which are over 65 years old. (We had a floor furnace removed and needed to have new flooring installed.) Like magic, Ron was able to match the new wood perfectly!
One contractor we interviewed said the new section would not match exactly. Ron, however, said they would match and boy was he right! They match perfectly! You can't tell the new section from the old. We couldn't be happier or more impressed.
I'm incredibly neurotic and have very high expectations and Ron exceeded our expectations to a huge degree! Ron even offered to help fix a different section of hardwood flooring in our home while he was there. Very generous of him and very much appreciated!

Ron Young did an incredible job on our floors. The entire house was walnut wood. They distressed the floors on the job site, and stained them beautifully. Ron helped us throughout the entire process from picking the patterns to stain color. We love our floors!
